Anyone can be sued, the question is whether there is any merit to the suit.

There is not enough information here. Why is the person suing you and your employee? If it is for some wrong that the employee did while working for you, both you and the employee are potentially liable.

If it is just something like you did not pay a bill to a vendor, then most likely there is no basis to sue the employee.

Anybody can sue anybody for anything. Winning is a different question. You should consult with, and hire, a local attorney to determine whether there are defenses to the case, and whether any named defendants can get out of the case.
