Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Daughter took my car

a car registered/financed in my name has been taken by my daughter /wont give it back. Her mother knows where it is as well but refuses to tell us.(i think it is at her house)it is valued at 12K so its not small claims. What form do I file to get it back. I will file a theft report but if she still wont return it i will need to file civil. She does not have permission to have possession of the car and that is in writing. I gave them until 6/15/09 to return it, then will file theft & need to file civil to obtain?

Re: Daughter took my car

File your stolen car police report. Do not wait any longer. If that doesn't get it back, then you can file your civil suit, preferably with the assistance of an attorney that knows how to do so effectively, as you probably don't. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.
