Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

My Father gave me my mothers car six months ago. It had been sitting in the driveway for 3 years.

She hasn't driven in 5 years, she has dimentia. He signed the car over to me and it is

registered in my name. Now, he says he wants the car back. Do I have to give it back to him?
