Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

kugal mesh patch recall

How much should I be expecting to pay a lawyer to represent me in my case regarding the kugal mesh patch recall. I had the patch surgically put in for a double umbilical and ventral hernias about 9 and 5 years ago--I have since suffered great health problems including severe abdominal pain -infections and multiple anal fistula--for which I just had surgery on 3 days ago and will be having additional surgeries to come. I don't have the money to pay a lawyer up front but i was hoping I could find someone who would like to represent me on a continuance .

Re: kugal mesh patch recall

I am sorry to learn of your medical problems associated with the Kugal Mesh patch.

As you may know, there have been quite a few Hernia Mesh lawsuits for individuals who received a defective patch. Did you receive a Davol / Bard Composix Kugel Mesh Hernia Patch or other Davol Patch containing dual-mesh technology?

Many of these hernia repair patches have been recalled after reports of serious injury and death that have been linked to a design defect- which could cause the plastic memory ring to break.

The theory of liability in these cases is that the manufacturer had reason to know that there were problems with some of these patches, yet they allowed thousands of individuals to have defective devices implanted.

As a result, you may be entitled to financial compensation through a lawsuit.

Our firm handles cases like this on a contingency basis. This means that there is no out of pocket cost to you. Our office only receives a fee if we recover compensation for you.

If you would like a free consultation about your case and your legal rights, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.

I wish you all the best and a quick recovery from this latest surgery.

Yours truly,

Bryan

You should be able to find an attorney to take that on a contingency fee basis.
