Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Law on employers providing health insurance to employees

Is there a law that requires employers to provide health insurance to employees(i.e. a company w/ over 200 employees)? If so, what are the minimum hours an employee must work to receive health benefits from their employer?

There is no law that any private business has to provide health insurance for their employees. . . a perfect example of this is the Supermarket strikes that are going on now. . . As a practical matter it may help with employee morale.
