legal remedy
i was promised by the plaintiff/petitioner lawyer on class action lawsuit that settled 06/07, that i will get the check for my claim by 11/07. to this date 03/08/08 nothing received. my calls are never returned. i need the money please advice me of my rights.

File a motion requesting that the court shorten time for service and the hearing. In that motion request a court order that she sign the document or that the court clerk can sign for her. You will have a better chance of success if the new loan does not include her name.
