Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

libel

I posted a comment about a guy on a website called womensavers and wish to have it removed. To protect myself, I used a ficticious email address and password that I cannot remember. I wish to remove the posting. Problem is if you google the guy, it goes straight to that website. How can I get womensavers to take off the posting? I'm worried about this guy suing me for libel, although the information is true.

Re: libel

If you hire me as an attorney, I will be happy to write a letter to the website asking them to remove it, saying I represent an anonymous client. Your identity should be protected by attorney client privilege. I can also look at the posting and see if it may be actionable or not.

Best,

Daniel Bakondi, Esq.

Re: libel

My colleague's suggestion makes sense if you wish to remain anonymous. You can make a WhoIs search at the following website to get the host's contact information: http://www.budgetnames.com. Good luck!
