Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Product Liability

What is/are the product liability associated with training and instructional videos? Are there cases and findings that would be helpful?

Re: Product Liability

Assuming you are producing the videos and are not the consumer (hard to tell from your question you could be exposed to liability under both negligence and products/strict liability theories. Of course, your topic/subject will, in-part, determine your potential exposure. You may want to consider, if appropriate, an express assumption of risk/release provision in the purchase agreement.

Feel free to contact me if you would like more information.
