I need to have a third-party of a civil lawsuit I am involved in served with a Deposition Subpoena for Personal Appearance and Production of Documents and Things. Does this person need to be served personally or can he be served with the subpoena via US mail? I am in pro per.

It must be personally served by someone over the age of 18 and who is not a party to the lawsuit. You also have the option of hiring a registered process server or using the Sheriff's department to serve the document.
