Legal Question in Health Care Law in California

confidential medical information

I would like to know what kind on an attorney would help with a situation where a patients medical information was breached to another by the doctors nurse. This particular nurse was talking to others about my husbands medical condition and these others just happen to be his co-workers. The nurse who did this is friends with a co-worker of my hsuband.

Any personal injury or "torts" attorney should be able to handle the matter.

It involves violating your husband's right of privacy and involves violations of California Civil Code Section 56, et seq., and federal HIPAA regulations and statute protecting the privacy of such information.
