Re: marijauna dispensary

Recent policy changes from the new Obama administration have indicated that federal marijuana laws will not be enforced if they conflict with state law. So, the situation regarding California medical marijuana dispensaries has become more viable. In order to start one, you will have to navigate a myriad of federal, state and local regulations to ensure you do not run afoul of drug laws that can carry serious consequences. If you are serious about this endeavor and would like to retain counsel in order to assist you, feel free to contact us.

Re: marijauna dispensary

I would not recommend that anyone start a "medical marijuana dispensary" at present. It's not clear that they are legal even under state law, and in addition to worrying about possible drug law enforcement, you could have other problems including zoning, security, and many others. I would think it far easier, and more profitable, to open or purchase a liquor store.

If you want to help seriously ill people, medical marijuana users or otherwise, volunteer to be a caretaker!
