hi

hi i am a american wanting to marry my boyfriend who is in america illegelly how would i go about marrying him he also has a felony charge on his record and they deported him but he came back would we be able to wed?

Getting married vs. getting him a green card are two different things. The state does not prohibit marriage based on person's criminal or immigration status.

As for getting your fiance a green card; that may not be possible. First, he entered illegally after being deported. Second, his deportation was probably based on conviction for aggravated felony in addtion being undocumented. There is a federal criminal law which says that someone like your fiance can go to prison for up to 20 years just for re-entering the US illegally after deportation. So, you have to be careful with your steps.

My recommenedation would be to hire a lawyer competent in criminal-immigration area so you don't get yourselves in more trouble.
