marrying an immigrant
would my girlfriend who is an
immigrant under an E-2 visa, or
non-permanent residency (which will
expire at the end of this month) gain
her citizenship if i marry her?

First a green card if you are a U.S. Citizen.
Later she can get Citizenship.

You can file for permanent residency for her once you are married.
She can apply for US citizenship three years after becoming a permanent resident.

If you are us citizen...she will get permanent residency...and will be eligible in three years for citizenship.
