Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

auto accident

My son was in an auto accident (his fault and nobody involed)

at the time of the accident he was delivering a sofa to a customer in another city close to ours (45mins away)for his employers orders. This was the first time my son had done this. Again his boss asked him to do this. He totaled out our truck.. state paid all medical bills..took him to small claims and won..now he is fighting to reverse the judges dicission. At the time all I had was PL&PD Insurance on this truck. He did bring it up to the judge too. Question is: Is he responsible for the loss of the truck reguardless of what type of insurance it had.

Re: auto accident

The real question is why nobody has demanded his boss (his employer) cover all expenses and damages. The medical bills would be covered by the employer's workers compensation insurance. He was injured on a business delivery and the business is responsible for all, including the damage to your truck.

Go to a lawyer and discuss this.
