Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I took care of my parents for thirteen years prior to their passing. I lived in their home and remain here now , a year later. My sister the trustee is evicting me and wants back rent of 70. A day. We had no rental agreement and we were working together to fix up the house for sale. She all of a sudden stopped communicating with me and is now charging that I illegally obtained possession of home and I refuse to leave. This is a lie. Can she do that and charge me back rent with no agreement between us? Ty

An agreement does not make a tenancy. A tenancy is created when a person occupies property with the permission of the landlord in exchange for rent. You are silent as to whether you paid rent in the past to either your parents, or the trust.
