Eviction notice

I am being evicted from my business premises, but I paid the rent on jan28, and got the notice on feb3. I have a reciept to this fact. What should I File with the court?

You didn't say why you're being evicted. Is it a 3-day pay or quit notice, or a 30-day notice to quit?

If you have a lease and it's a 30-day notice, then it might violate the lease. If it's for failure to pay rent, then you have three days from when you received the notice to pay the rent or provide evidence to the landlord that it was paid. If that doesn't work, then you file an answer that states, among other things, that rent was paid. Since this is a business, it absolutely makes sense to retain an attorney who knows what to do.
