Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Rental Dispute

I was informed by my landlord today that if my building cannot pass inspection it could possibly be condemned. I know for a fact that there are several violations on file with the city. If it doesn't what does that mean for us as tenants.

If it is condemned, your lease is concluded, and you can move out without making further rent payments.
