Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Annual Meeting

We received our notice for the annual meeting and there were two different dates on the ballots and our monthly bill had another. The PM said she was only human and it was an error. As a homeowner what can we do? Is this illegal to publish wrong dates?

Re: Annual Meeting

You will not have an accurate record if the dates are not correct. In addition, the written ballot form must set forth a time to return the ballot. This will be a problem if the dates are wrong and if you ever have to issue a ballot extension. Your monthly bill should always have the correct date, for assessment purposes, to ensure timely payment under the statute or the governing documents.
