well my girlfriend, came out of a relationship with an illegal imiigrant, which, she recieved promises from him to pay her what he owed her, and untill this date he has not and he owes her 3000 plus of credit card bills which he claims most of them are gifts, and is not willing to pay!he also used her to get a loan for a car because he is not here illegally. he has brought my girlfriend to financial ruin. and is not willing to pay his bills even though my girlfriend has reciepts, and records. Is there a way we can get compensated! or what can we do!

Sounds like small claims court would be the first step. Then, if she receives a judgment, she should hire a collection attorney to find and seize assets.

Depending on how title to the car is held, if she is the only one on title and the loan, the car might be hers and she might be able to repossess it and sell it.
