Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

No response from interview

Can I sue a company where I interviewed but did not get a response even after sending the HR contact many emails asking about the result. I had interviewed in Mid Feb 2007. The company is a Fortune 100 company and I think this was very unprofessional of them and not expected. Also I was very excited to interview with them and I was waiting desperately to get an answer, they had told they will get back in either case, but they did not. I was kept waiting for many days, no one picked up the phone when i called

Re: No response from interview

You might be lucky you weren't invited to work for this company, if the HR Department is any representation of corporate responsibility.

Brush yourself off and move on. No lawsuit is feasible.

Re: No response from interview

The answer is "No". Well, you probably could sue, but you cannot win!

Obviously, they were not interested, but there is no obligation to call you back.

Move on, and as Mr. Cohen points out, be thankful.
