Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
stolen identity
a man dies and his care giver has changed door locks, keeping all of his possessions from his family and refuses to talk to anyone. also using his credit cards illegally and the sheriff's dept won;t intervene.
they say that he let her in and they cannot remove her. the home owner cannot get into his house either. what do we do?

Inform the card companies that this person is deceased and get an attorney to get a court order appointing someone to handle this mess.
