Taping telephone calls

Can a telasales company record phone calls to customers without telling them the calls are being recorded, when phone numbers, ss# and address are mentioned?

In Pennsylvania, it is illegal to record any phone call, or to "electronically intercept" ANY conversation, even a face to face one, unless all parties consent.

Generally, the law of the state where the recording it taking place controls. Most states only require one-party consent for such recordings.
