landlord never fixed plumming but wonts me to pay rent

what do i do after i recieve lawful detainer was served 3 weeks.

You are required to file an answer with the court, and mail it to the landlord's lawyer within 5 days. If you don't, then the landlord could obtain a default judgment against you, evict you, and also come after you for money. It's not a good thing to ignore.
