Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

24 year old was airlifted to E.R. and was released shortly after. Pt. was ininsured and sure no U.A. was performed. Within one hour of release was urinating large amount of blood and went to local E.R. who transported him via ambulance to original hospital and was admitted 7 days due to kidney laceration. Now has ambulance bill and huge hospital bill. What, if anything, can he do? This was apprx. 2 years ago, but has recently received the ambulance bill from collection.

You're long past the Statute of Limitations to bring a medical malpractice case against anyone involved, so that is no longer an issue. Now you get to defend any collection lawsuit, if you have any defenses against it [not likely]. Negotiate the best discount deal you can.
