Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I am 72 years old. I signed a release to a claim in February, and have not received payment yet. I have tried to contact my attorney by phone countless times, and he will not return my calls. Is there a law that states because of my age that this should be handled in a timely order. Can I complain to the bar association because of my attorneys lack of his concern and dsregard to his client?

Yes, you can complain to the state bar. Or send a letter to your attorney asking for a response within one week, or you will contact the state bar. That usually gets the attorney's attention.
