Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I had a government job that required a full background check, psychological examination, etc. before I was hired. I worked there for 2.5 months and my scores were very high, but I made a whistleblower complaint and they fired me the next day, I think illegally. I appealed to the Office of Special Counsel, which gave me written documentation stating that they think I am insane, delusional, and that I hallucinate and hear things, but I think that they just did not want to have to deal with my whistleblower complaint. Because I was obviously not insane before being hired and I was considered by the government to be insane within just 2.5 months, do I have any recourse? Can I ask the government to pay for therapy for me if it says that it made me insane?

You may very well have recourse if you can show that the complaint is what got you fired. But your mental health will be an issue, since the government will argue that it had a bona fide reason to fire you independent of the complaint.

As to your last question, it does not seem the government is claiming your job made you insane.
