Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

A man wrote a play and brought me in to write music for it. we never agreed to anything other than a handshake. After months of going I decided to end it.So, I wrote a musical loosely based on my relationship with this guy. Nothing in my work resembles him in any form, but he might think so.If you know someone in the los angeles area who further assist me.
