Uninsured Motorist Damages

As the only party and uninsured owner/driver in a motorcycle accident caused by a broken sprinkler. Flooding a turn in the road every night with property owner aware. Can punitive damages be asked for and if so, how do you proceed.What is cap $ that can be asked for.Does it have to be asked for on orginal complaint. Thanks Big Time!

You may not sue for punitive damages in this type of a case.
