Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I work for a big oilfield trucking company and the other day our area safety rep had taken a can of computer dusting spray and turned the can upside down and shot me in the face with the liquid at the same time i was inhaling I had a coughing attack for about 45 minutes I wanted to throw up and i also had a hard time breathing also i started to shake and had heat sweats. I want to know what i should do. the spray is a office depot brand it also containes 100% tetrafluoroethane.

Also report him to a supervisor. You might be entitled to increased WC beneflits for serious and wilfull misconduct. Since it was an intentional battery, you probably can sue the guy in civil court, although the case may not be worth enough, unless you sustain permanent injuries, to persue.
