Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I manage a 90 unit in building in Hollywood!

Can my employer/landlord/building owner fire me the manager for not signing

a lease/manager contract after working for them for 3 years?

I have more questions!

Thanks,

You're an 'at will' employee that can be fired any time for any reason, unless you have a written contract to the contrary. Minor exceptions exist for property managers, but they don't apply to substantial change your current problem, they might only delay the process a little. If your contract specifies how renewal or termination occurs, then that is what the parties are supposed to follow. Unless you currently have an enforceable contract in place that provides for rules on termination that they have violated, then yes, you can be fired. IF you think you have grounds for claim of breach, then feel free to contact me for legal help.
