Real Estate - left personal property in a home they broke into

I am a realtor who has a house on the market. A person broke into the house with her belongings. The police made her leave. Some of her belongs are still in the house. How long di I have to legally hold her belongs?

No guaranteed easy answer. She can always sue in small claims for value if you dispose. Anybody can sue anybody for anything. That doesn't mean she will win. Your safe bet is to put them in the garage or storage shed, or other storage, and if you know how to contact her, from the police report maybe, send a letter saying they'll be disposed of in XX days [15 to 30 or so] if not claimed. If not claimed by close of escrow, leave them or dispose of them.
