Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I rented a home through a property management company.

Recently the home went back to the bank.

The property manager has admitted to having my security deposit, however they will not release it to me.

Even though the previous owner/landlord has no rights to the property, the property manager is still refusing to release it, siting the fact that the previous owner is trying to buy it back.

I verified that the home is now owned by the bank through a title report.

How can I get them to release the money? Who else would be entitled to it? Does the bank now have the right to the money?

Sue them all in small claims court and let the judge decide.
