If you are neither licensed as a real estate broker or agent nor an attorney, there is a strong possibility of violating the DRE rules (i.e., the real estate licensing laws). Showing the business is not necessary to be in violation. Among other prohibited acts would be participating in the negotiation of price and terms. An unlicensed person may act as a "finder" subject to some limitations, but must not become involved in the transaction itself.
