Legal Question in Tax Law in California

I've been married two years. One child, 14 months old. Husband is retired, but not retirement age. I'm not currently working because of the baby. Husband is providing all funds for rent and living expenses. We share a checking account, to which he deposits money each month. That's all I know.

Apparently the money is coming from a 403b. I'm not sure. He receives his mail at his mother's house. I have not seen any income taxes filed. When I questioned him about the taxes, he gave several answers, none of which rang true.

If he is not reporting taxes when he should, how do I protect myself and my child, short of divorce?

Well you could report it to be audited but technically unless you have the ability to report it or know or should know then you are not required to do more.
