Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

23111 Cigreatte Litter

Hello,

I have been citied for violating 23111 VC, discharging a cigreatte. This is my second conviction; the violation requires a mandatory litter clean up duty. Is it possible to pay a heavier fine instead of doing the clean up?

Thanks

Nope. I argued this three times for clients. The law requires clean up duty. You are going to have to do the time regardless of your desire to pay a bigger fine.

For some reason we get a lot of repeat Paul Buzzo Act offenders here. Do your Caltrans and quit using the world as your ******* ashtray already.
