Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

drug posession

my husband and i were pulled over for a cracked windshield. the officer smelled marijuana (my husband admitted that he smoked a few minutes ago) and asked to search the car. during the search a baggie with meth was found (it really wasnt mine but my prints may be found on it due to the fact that i had thrown them away and a ''friend'' dug them out of the garbage and put his stuff in them. upon leaving my car, he dropped it in my car. No marijuana was found when they searched the car. i was arrested. the next day i searched the car and found 3 roaches under the seat and half a joint under the dash cover. with the damage they did to my car shouldnt they have found what they were really looking for. Can i prove that the baggies werent mine and they did not find what they searched the car for.

Re: drug posession

What, you are going to take your unfound stash to the cops and say, see, here it is, you missed it ??!? Stop talking to cops and consenting to searches already and get a lawyer.
