Hit and run no bodily injuries

Involve in hit and run injuries only to other drivers car (scratches mainly) i was giving her my insurance she stared saying call cops i left the scene i was scare i don't have license cops when to my house took my truck i wasn't home.Now detective doesn't want give me a release until i turn my self in what happens if i turn myself in?

If you are arrested, you will need a bail bonds person and a lawyer to defend you on the hit and run charges, which are serious charges.

You should take the advice of Mr. Stone. In cases such as this your attorney may be able to negotiate a civil compromise with the party who's car was damaged. A civil compromise will require that you or your insurance company must pay the damages before the civil compromise can be entered into.
