Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

I recently received a traffic citation (orange county, ca) and noticed that the location of violation is incorrect. Does that make a difference or invalidate the ticket?

It depends. Let's say they charged you with running a stop sign and listed an intersection where there is no stop sign. Pretty straightforward, but you'll have to set it for trial and show that at the location there is no sign.

If it's just a matter of the wrong block where you got caught speeding, it may not matter.

Typically clerical mistakes o location mistakes do not get tickets dismissed. Fight the ticket.

No. At trial, officer can correct the location. It is not a "jurisdictional" defect, meaning it does not result in dismissal.
