Co-counsel is correct, this attorney has passed away. However, he did have a partner whose name can be found by doing a google search on Attorney James. I would suggest that you get this person's name, go to the court and get a copy of one of their pleadings and then try to contact his old partner. This person may have the informatio you are looking for.

Good Luck!

Unfortunately, he passed away. Please check out the CA state bar's website for confirmation.

also check the San Francisco Superior Court probate department to determine if a probate was opened. otherwise, you will need to search all of your records and those of your son related to the trust to attempt to determine who the trustee was and where the funds were held.
