I live in the state of California and my family lives in Alabama. If my fathers name was forged on his will, what rights do I have?

I don't have any answers for you because there are a lot of facts that you do not state. You have posted in the category for California attorneys to answer. It is not clear whether your father is living, or if he is deceased, where he was residing when he died. Although you state you live in California, personal property is probated in the state where the decedent resided at time of death, and real property is probated in the state where it sits.
