Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

living trust cocidil

I need to make changes to my will. the lawyer who did my living trust, is no longer practicing and can't be reached. How do I update the living trust? Do I need to do a completely new one and then change everything (houses, etc.) over to the new trust? As another option, can I copy the will on my own computer and then get it re-notorized with the same date and name? If I added the addendum, is it legal if I just add it to the existing will and get it notorized?

Thank you.

Re: living trust cocidil

You should not need to go through that much trouble if the changes are minimal. We can do an addendum for you at a very low cost. Alternatively, (and especially if you have made changes before or the changes may be extreme) we can draft a new trust for you, encompassing as much of the old one as you desire.

We specialize in trusts, wills, and estate planning so we should be able to take care of it for you with an exceptionally fast turn around time.
