I want to know how to remove myself as a beneficiary from a will drawn up by a lawyer for my mother

Nothing you can do if your mother is alive, but you can "disclaim" your interest in the estate if she has died.

You cannot control your being listed in someone else's will or trust as a beneficiary. What you CAN do though, is wait until you are entitled under the will and "disclaim" your interest.
