Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Transfer of real estate into trust

What is the effect on title insurance, if any, of transferring to a revocable living trust (a) a personal residence and (b) a rental property? Does notice have to be provided? A new policy purchased? A discounted policy purchased? How is this usually handled in California. Thank you.

No effect. Transfer into a living trust is a transfer in name only. The property is still yours. To better understand how living trusts work, what they are and how to use them, go to my website www.IWant2CreateMyLegacy.com and order my book on the subject, written for laymen with complete plain English forms provided.
