Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Trust Administration Compensation

I am the trustee of our family trust, both parties now deceased. What is the percentage of the trust value allowed for trustee administration/compensation fees?

Thank you!

Re: Trust Administration Compensation

Often the trust itself will state those fees. If it does not, then you are entitled to any and all documented out of pocket costs, and may be entitled to some reasonable fees unless the beneficiaries object. Your duties are heavily governed by the Probate Code. You should obtain the assistance of a lawyer to ensure you do not do anything that you are not supposes to, and that you do not take anything you are not supposed to take.
