Can a spouse change a living trust after the other spouse passes away

yes but, if it contains a no contest clause it could have serious adverse effects on you and the taxation of the estate sooooooo before you do that there are alternatives, eventho limited and check those out if available to you. if you wish and are in n. ca i would be happy to make an appoint to discuss this with you ---

It depends on the terms of the living trust. Some become irrevocable by their terms.
