When represented, I advise my clients not to provide their medical history to the carriers. (CAUTION: ASSUMING THAT YOU ARE NOT REPRESENTED, IF YOU REFUSE TO PROVIDE THE CARRIER WITH YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY, THEY MAY DISCONTINUE YOUR BENEFITS). However, I advise my clients to tell the doctors their complete medical history when asked. One of the issues that I frequently encounter is that my clients are not completely honest with their medical history, and at the end of the day, the dishonesty hurts them.

The above is only one issue out of 100s that arise during a workers comp claim. It would be best to consult with an attorney. Please call me at 1.877.505.INJURY, and/or go to my website at www.lupofflaw.com.

When you don't have an attorney, insurance company force you to disclose medical history and sometimes they send an investigator to your home to intimidate you and get your medical history. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
