Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I injured myself on the job and went to the hospital to have my thumb checked out. The hospital released me, and the doctor prescribed Vicodine for the pain. The next day I returned to work and they made me submit to a drug test. They claim it is company policy to do so. They said I was under the influence (of pain medicine) and terminated me. What should I do?
