Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I had a QME/IME exam 8 years ago. They now want a repeat as the findings were "vague". I have been back to work for 7 years and was told they lost most of my case records. Is there a statute of limitations on requesting a redo of exams?

what is the issue? It cannot be permanent disability or temporary disability. Those would have resolved years ago. If the issue is on going medical treatment, the carrier has a right to request new diagnostics, but not from prescriptions written 8 years ago, only from you current Primary Treating Physician, or alternatively from a medical legal examiner like an AME, QME, or Panel QME.
