Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Selecting a physician

i just had a QME and really liked the doctor. I am currently on P&S and

the QME doctor is recommending that a get back on TTD. My first

question is that do i have to go back to my doctor that put me on P&S?

My second question is that can i pick my QME doctor to be my primary

physician? And finally how do i request a stronger medication from my

pain management doctor becuase the meds im on now barely work.

Re: Selecting a physician

It is very advantageous to return to TTD status, unfortunately your treating physician has a presumption of correctness. Naming the QME as treater may be rishy however. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.

Re: Selecting a physician

Comp is a very fact and medically driven area of law and there are very few injured workers who understand all the complexities involved. It doesn't cost any money for you to be represented by counsel. Give me a call and I will review your case with you.
