Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

i have a workers comp case open here in california, aside from my job im also a muscician with a garageband ( a bass player to be exact ) but today i had the call i've been waiting my entire life, a promotor calls me so i can go to the big leagues in the music industry but i have no idea if i can do this while in workers comp. i injured my back and im working with restrictions, no lifting of more than 10lbs, no bending to prolongued walking or standing. i can play seating down thats not a problem.
